Adding turn signal mirrors?

My driver mirror has small clip failed, only way is a new mirror.
I found a pair of mirrors with heat like mine BUT they have the turn signal.
They are only $40 for the pair but if I put them on I want them to work.

It can be done, you will have to runs some wire but that's not too difficult.

I think it depends what year you have, at some point they added LED's to the stock paddle mirrors, so I believe the wire is in the harness, but no in the earlier years.

They are on craigslist here in Oklahoma.
He has no pictures of them that worried me a bit.

EDIT: he has a picture now, BUT is only driver side now and it is the wrong mirror for my truck (also I do not think it is heated like first ad stated

If you still want to wire the turn signal, all you have to do is tap into the turn signal wires that are in the cover by the steering column. The left turn signal wire color is white and green and the other one is white and blue.

can anybody assist?, just bought 2003 drive & passenger mirrors with everything including turn signal & clearance light, converting my old non turn signal ones to the newer version. i have everything connected but the turn signal and clearance light you know if the turn and clearance wires run on each side down behind the kick panel cover and/or under the rocker covers on the 2000 excursion, if so what the color coding might be.

Need Related Mirror Wiring Info Please

2012 F-150 XLT. Did not buy the convenience package so my mirrors have inserts where the turn signal lens would go. Living in Arkansas we really don't need heated mirrors. I want to install the lens and Ford shows them as parts. I popped the inserts but don't see any wiring. None of the lens photos I can find show any wiring. I also asked the dealer if the truck came prewired and they did not know. Seems to me Ford would prewire all trucks on the line because many come with the extra package. What I would like to know is
1) Are the trucks prewired? If not, how far away is the nearest turn signal wire. I figure the other wire is ground.
2) Any source for the lens other than from Ford where they are pricey.
3) Any other suggestions about wiring them, etc.
4) Thanks
