Transfer case output nut

So I've been hearing some clunking lately, and noticed my rear driveshaft had some play in it. Tonight I took it off, and the nut on the tcase was finger tight, I spun it off by hand. So my question is simple, what is the torque spec on that nut? I've searched and can't find it anywhere. And when I put it back on, can I use some blue threadlocker so this doesn't happen again? Thanks!

If I remember correctly it's 150 ft lbs...I cant see why the thread locker would matter..

The correct torque for output shaft nut is 186 ft-lbs. The 12 pt flange bolts are 75 ft-lbs.

Mine would "chirp" when the nut got a little loose. Nothing finger tight though. I used some red threadlocker on it.

I would use nothing less than red permanant strength loktite. 271 is great.hopefully the splines didnt get damaged to much or you will be tightening that nut often.
