Source for new V/B leaf spring

If anyone's interested I live less than an hour from Tousley Ford;
Anyway, I'm moving from my current location to Hartford, CT in the next month or so. If anybody lives along that route and would like to meet me off the highway I'd be happy to move your springs for you. Free beats paying shipping, and I'm headed that way anyway!

I don't know if anybody is still responding to this thread but I definitely need to do some work on my front suspension. I have an 01 Excursion with the 7.3 in it and I believe at least my front springs are shot. If I go over a speed bump, the front end bottoms out on the stops and makes a very disheartening sound. Here are some mods I have added over the last couple of years: air bags in rear, rear anti-sway bar, and Bilstein shocks all around. I am debating whether to go with the B codes for the rear or just go with the tapered blocks in the rear to match the front V code upgrade (I'm not sure this would even work). The rear springs seem to be fine and with the air bags and sway bar seem to handle the weight adequately. We do tow several times a year a 7,000 lb. (loaded) travel trailer.
Eric H-- where did you get the prices on the parts you ordered as they seem to be pretty reasonable.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Everything else came from Tousley Ford. They're only 40 minutes away so I was able to avoid shipping costs.

Hi staarma and welcome to the forum!
Over time it has been proven by a few members here that sdtrucksprings sells products identified by the same "code" as Ford's specs that do not meet those specs. Their X codes are actually nearly identical to OEM V codes, for this reason I would not spend my money with them, I like getting what I want when I buy something.
I was fortunate to have a friend gift me my low mile take-off X/B springs but several members here have bought from ATS, a site supporting vendor here. Their forum rep "Junior" is the guy to talk to, he can work with you to get the exact spring package that you want for your rig.
Bringing an old thread back from the dead is OK if the topic is still relevant, it is also just fine to start a new thread with a request for information and advice.

For what replacement bolts will cost you (they are somewhat of a specialty fastener and fastenall was the only place I could find that wanted to order me some and it was gonna be around forty or fifty bucks) you might as well just get some online.
I think this is where I got mine. It's been a while.

Home Depot sells Diablo brand long carbide tipped sawzall blades that fit in where they need to without going too far. That's what I'd recommend. Back the nuts off until you can hammer the bolt heads out a quarter inch to slide the sawzall in and cut the heads off.

Another recommendation for ATS. The complete kit was, well complete. The only nitpick was that the new U-bolts stick up too high for a socket and the space was tight for a wrench so tightening them was a minor PITA. I would measure your existing ones and let them know the size. But otherwise everything just bolted right up.
For my location shipping was $153. But considering the weight that isn't too bad. Those things are HEAVY!

Front x codes weigh in at 45 pounds each.
Rear modded C's weigh in at 95 pounds each.
