power package?

Any body have any idea what the ideal edelbrock power package (heads, cam, intake carb) would be for my 1973 short bed ranger with a 302, c6, 3:73 rear might be.

BTW I want it to haul *** from 0 up to about 80-90mph and thats enough

I already have the 1406 carb, and long tube headers, and some sort of shift kit in the c6

Thanks

Depends.. are you okay with cutting the pistons or installing new pistons? 2.02" intake valves requires at least fly cutting the pistons whereas the 1.90" valves do not.

Otherwise, select the components with the best torque curve for these heavy trucks. Down low is where you need it. Yer rig doesn't normally live at more than 4,500 RPM so I would exclude the Performer RPM series components.

Thanks,
If you did not tell me that I probably would have made the mistake of the 2.02 valves, don't really want to cut pistons just bolt on and go.
