truckertrav's fuel tank sender
I took this part out of the aft-axle tank. Unfortunately I can't really take both tanks off as I still need the truck to run right now. My Sebring is down right now and my wife uses the van to get to her work.
Anywho, to answer your question, that is the sender that came out of the aft-tank.

Summit,Autozone, etc. can get yours. About $60++.

Did you look on the top of the sender for the Ford ID engineering number? This will either be stamped on the sender, or on a glued on paper label.

Steel Tank. 1 tube on unit. 2 prong plug. It looks identical to Dorman 692-118.
It was so rusted that no numbers or Id could be visible. Tank falling apart.
Thank you for the Ford number for my tank..

EDIT: THIS POST IS LOCATED IN A DIFFERENT THREAD, LOCATED HERE. Here are all 3 pages of the basic 9275 (fuel tank sender without integrated pump). I highlighted where the 460 shows up (or it's implied ("All 6 & 8 cyl. non-EFI gas engines"), which may or may not be a correct part) the green is in E-series vans, the purple is F-series trucks.
I just now noticed the 9275-G is all unleaded-gas non-EFI engines except the 460....
But, here is what I don't know.... For the variants with the in-tank pumps (9350 & 9H307), did ford ever sell those sending units bare? Where the pump could be added separately (or not at all)? They would have two tubes and the wiring at the top would be the 4-conductor variant but the catalog is sometimes pretty vague, no? Would such a component be a 9275?

Chris, I really do appreciate the time and trouble for the info. IMO, Ford had these deals because the later 85's got fuel injected on the 302's. My 85 was feb 85 and has the 351W HO. Carbed.
I don't know for sure but that probably explains a few oddities.
Anyway, Thanks to you and ND and all for the Help. Travis

Travis, the 351W HO remained carbed with the DS2 ignition until 1989 or so. The 6-bangers & 302s had feedback carbs in 84-85, I think EFI was optional on the 302 beginning in 1985 (might have been 86, I forget for certain). I think the 2V 351W also had the feedback carb stuff but I don't know that I've ever seen one of those in a JY.
