06 rough accelerate, flashes engine light

06 rough accelerate, flashes engine light

Any others have any experience with this? 2006 5.4 has 110,000 miles.
I've read some about spark plugs to transmission? Thanks in advance for an help or advice.

Yes have your sparkplugs been changed if not that be the first thing you should change.

Have not, is that pretty easy on this? I'm not sure but thought I'd heard some horror stories about the Triton an spark plug issues.

You should have the codes read to help with the diagnosis, and should change the COPs too.

yea i'll just do a total tune up this week and start digging into some of it, would it throw a code if the engine light isn't always on? seems like during two accelerations it would flash and then it went away. other than that none of the lights are on.
