I Blue Sprung It

Well I finally installed the blue spring upgrade thanks to the procedure from Rusty Axlerod and tips from others. It was not bad at all, but I decided to make it more challenging. I did not remove the radiator hose or pull it down. The lowest screw in the housing was the worst. After wrestling with it for a few minutes, I was second guessing my decision not to remove the hose, but I was able to get it out with a u-joint. Putting the new cover on, I realized I had an adaptor to put the torx bit in a ratcheting wrench. That made it a breeze. So it can be done. Things are so much easier when you use the right tools. Of course I have the plastic intake tube and as others suggested, I heated it up to remove and put back on. I took it for a drive and it may run a little better but definately not worse.

Did it too, but with the housing removed. Did not try the truck yet, still waiting for parts for the turbo.
