Hey, would like some input on what colour to paint my truck.
I have it down to two. Both of them will have a satin finish (cheap and super easy, and...cheap). Cost of both paint jobs will be less than $100
The truck will be getting a full length roofrack, and running boards/tubes, big bash guard up front. OBO, welder etc..
heres how the truck looks now:
1) satin black. Basically the truck would be matching my mustang. 20% tint all around, black paint, small chrome accents.
heres how the paint actually looks on my car, looks great in person.
2) Ford grabber green
black grille, tinted windows, black accessories.
this is a wild one but think would look cool with the black tubing all over the truck. might be a bit "modern" looking to pull it off..
Im tellin ya its really not that hard to keep clean! it catches dust easier but it wipes off woth a dry rag! And if i were to do it that grabber green, you would t even notice the dust. i just dont like glossy paint on things that dont have curves
im not too sure about that particular shade of green for the crew cab truck, but i like the idea of doing something a bit different than what everyone else does.......black or white lol.too many people have lost their sense of creativity and fun.
grabber green over the black.
I had to vote for satin black, but personally I would not use either. I like the grabber green on that 70 Mustang, but not on our trucks. Yuck... Why has this satin black become such a poplular trend lately? I think it looks like an unfinished car that is still in primer. That fox body would look killer in raven black.
My truck's white paint is still in good condition but when I do need to paint it I'm going with Ford OEM "Dark Jewel Green Metallic". It can look black at times but is really nice. I figure that with a flat black hood and white roof.
