Cleaning turbo while its out - plus I know about the oil cooler - but I think with a fresh system flush, plus having my coolant filter in place and a fresh cooling system full of EC-1 coolant, it shouldn't be a problem...
seems most people get 25k~40k out of a oil cooler... mine lasted
91k... your milage may vary.
sand coming from cores that were not completely cleaned
during manufacturing is a problem, and one that is not easily
resolved.
most of the egr fixes are 1/2" 304 stainless tubing as a core,
and it won't plug up like a wafer heat exchanger... but it
varies from block to block, and the ultimate coolant filter
is the heat exchanger itself.... it's just a pain to change...
