This certainly isnt a new idea but i think its cool,
I had the front part of a 56 heater so i made a box for the reat of it to kinda resemble a complete assembly. Needs some fine mesh in front to look like the core.
But, it is going to house my wiring panel and associated stuff.

Do you have a mining supply store anywhere near you? They typically have a great supply of different meshes in different styles that can make a nice grill

John, what is the heat box sitting on? Yes..a hood...but hood of ???

Looks like your housing and grille are already chromed. Add a little 'bling' to the interior no doubt.
Jeff- If i had to say I'm betting is a '57 Chev. You can see how by merely placing a Ford item on it, it will start to make the item rust...

Hi Guys,
its sitting on the hood of my daily driver 57 Chevy wagon, and yes it has no paint left in parts. Too many years in the California sun i guess.
