Steering Help

I have a 74 F100,360, 2wd, 1/2 tn XLT Ranger, and my problem is that my steering is extremely light. Not loose,and it doesn't wander. I barely move the steering wheel and it responds quickly and I have to gently get it back under control. I don't want to replace the whole steering system when it may be something simple, I'd appreciate any input on this,thanx

Have your front end alignment checked. You'll need to find a GOOD shop, probably one that deals with heavy trucks because if either caster or camber is out, the axles will have to be bent to adjust.
The only "easy" adjustment on twin I-beams is toe in.

you can also ajust the steering box also to tighten it up a bit unless the front end took a realy good hit in the past i have never seen the need to bend the i beams my self very rare
