Likely the headlight switch is the culprit for the dash lights not working. You turn the headlight **** counter-clockwise for full illumination and past to the click to turn on the dome light.
The dash bulbs could be bad also but be careful removing the Speedo cluster; some of the plastic wasn't good and they crumble.
The headlight **** is released by pushing down a spring pin on top of the switch. Reach up under the dash and feel for it above the main block of the switch.
The wiper **** has a spring clip on the backside of the know it's-self.
On the back side of the dash bezel above the headlight/wiper holes is a light clip attached to a plastic fragile arm; squeeze the metal holder and it comes right off.
