Replace FPR On 03 6.0 Help
Ok i just a Blue spring upgrade kit (The housing and everything) does anyone have Complete instruction for this?
Like is there anything important i should know?
Anything i should do before the install? fuel pressure going to spray me? fuel going to get everywhere?

Do a search, there's plenty of good info in 1 or 2 detailed threads on here. 1 of the threads has step by step pics if I recall, or it links to a thread on thedieselstop.com or powerstroke.org or some other site which was really good.
If you lay out each piece as you remove it, and stand it up or face it a certain way that'll help you figure out which pieces goes where and which piece of the kit you'll want. If I remember right, when I did mine there were extra pieces in the kit that I didn't need and I returned to the computer to read some more and make double sure.
Also, get the right size wrenches so you don't tweak or damage the fuel line when you are loosening it. One to backstop it and the other to turn the nut.
The consensus on tightening the face bolts is so they are snug and firmly tight. I don't think there are any torque values for them, but you don't need to yard on them.
I do not remember if I removed the upper fuel filter and drained the fuel to avoid a mess. Can't recall.

Wow man thank you for taking the time to type all that out for me. Great help thank you very much.
I think i will drain the fuel anyways no harm in it i am sure.
EDIT: Ok so i went ahead and got inpatient and just did it without looking anything up lol. Now i got it done i think next time(If there is a next time) lol.... And the "extra" o ring (black) is for the little black sleeve that the spring holder goes into. just so everyone knows that did not. anyways thanks for the help
