What if any limitations in fuel lines?? they look darn tiny inside...(hard line's) and what change's may be required to the sticks other than working presure??
The Orifices in the pump are smaller than the orifices in the lines.
Like I have said in other threads, Im not banking on the stock injectors being a restriction until I dyno them against a couple sets of higher flowing injectors. That being said, our injectors arent all that restrictive for the amounts of fuel we are putting through them.
Well first off I'm going to try to resurrect this thread. R&D and NMB2 I love what you guys do for the IDI but I have yet to find a finished thread on these kinds of projects!! What gives? I don't mean to be aggressive I'm just extremely curious.
Some of it has been in RacinNdrummin's thread and others as well. The 110cc Db2 is out already and he is currently working on a big bore Db2 to go along with his Db4 product line.

I think we are all impatiently waiting to see the results of the big bore DB2!!

Just been waiting on the shop to get some different accumulators in on this pump. There was some info in my smogie thread, but Ill update here where I should have.
The pump head and rotor were put into my original DB4 (The one that I locked up without the input shaft thrust bearing) housing after I had my grinding shop fit the plungers I made to the rotor. They have a sub-.0002" wall clearance and on the stand the big bore did 210cc at 1400 engine RPM, but the fuel curve dropped like a rock, it was putting out about 115 iirc at 3300 RPM.
I am going to be running some different accumulators in the head, which should help with the high RPM fueling. If the accumulators don't work, It will go back to EDM and get the charge ports opened up, as the DB2 head has slightly less register area than the DB4....
The goal with BB1 (Big bore #1) is to maintain a healthy fuel curve, if I can do that on the stand, its going on Arps6.9's truck to see what it does in reality.
If BB1 looks to be a success, I am building BB2, which will either be a .437" or .500" plunger with EDM to lighten them, Modified Metering Valve gallery, and all the rest of the tricks...
If both big bores are successful, and go thousands of miles with no issues, I will make them available to the public.
Yeah hurry up Justin summer pulling season is coming up and I'm ready to grenade some axles and driveshafts! Haha I have some BBC's to beat! Just giving you crap, I still have to make my 66mm a diverted housing and driveshaft to make.
