If you decide to go the Sanden route, Nostalgic Air makes a conversion bracket www.nostalgicairparts.com That's who I got my bracket from. Another thing I did in the conversion was to fab another bracket that connects the top of the compressor to the bracket that has the adjustable idler. This restores support to the top of the bracket that was lost when the York was removed.
You'll also need to have new hoses made to match the Sanden's ports. When I had mine made I used 90 degree fittings on both hoses. If I had it to do over I would use a 135 degree fitting on the hose that goes to the condenser, it will make a cleaner looking installation.
Any good A/C shop can make the hoses. They cut off the odd ends that Ford uses and braze them to new fittings. I had all three made new, including the liquid line. Total cost was $115.00
