Heater Box replacement

Anyone know where I can find a new (with AC) heater box? I see all the components but have not been able to find a replacement new or remanufactured plastic box (housing). Need it for a 1978 F100 that we are completely restoring.

I doubt anyone remanufactures it ... if it were available, it'd be in the standard catalogs (DC, NPD, JBG, LMC, et al. - linked from sticky threads). Probably have to search the junkyards if yours is trashed.

Thanks. It's not trashed but with everything else new it will stick out. Maybe I can paint it or something. I'll see.

Since the A/C is combined with the heater, there isn't a separate heater box. The evaporator core is 19860, the heater core is 18476,

Maybe clean it real well with soap and water, then use that "bumper renew" or "body molding bring back to life" stuff?

Ask a paint and body shop what they think as far as painting it.
