6.0 no start

ive posted up on here before a few times and everyone has been very help full , i have a 2005 f-250 4x4 crew cab 200k miles, hpop was changed in 2007 along with 4 injectors, egr cooler, ect, the truck wouldnt start after you run it for a while, so my buddy is a ford tech, we tore the valve covers off and my dummy pipe orings were shot, we replaced the dummy pipes, and he also had some replacement orings for the Stand pipes, now when you turn the key over the oil pressure gauge comes up almost right away but the truck wont fire, before it took about 30 seconds for the gauge to read anything, so i dont know if i am going in the right direction or not, so my issue now is oil pressure gauge reads almost instantly but has no start, where before it wouldnt read until you turned it over for about 30 seconds or so, can anyone give me any input thanks,,, truck isnt throwing any codes

You may not have cranked enough yet to get all the air out after the work, or you may have trash in the IPR valve. Both are fairly common occurences.

So I would bet on the trash in the IPR.

Get a scan tool that will read ICP, ICP desired, and IPR duty cycle.
