6 people and 75 MPG ?!?! That seems a little far fetched.
A lot of vehicles in other parts of the world get the mileage they do not because they are "better" so to say, but because what people actually buy.
There, people are happy buying light, tiny diesel vehicles with limited power, smaller wheels, and less towing capacity, etc.
Here, we like our big vehicles, head room, power, tow ratings, big wheels, etc.

Toyota Estima Hybrid: This minivan uses both gasoline and an electric motor. It features front wheel drive with an automatic transmission. It easily gets double the gas mileage of the standard minivan at 40 miles per gallon and has been reported to regularly get as much as 65 miles per gallon

That yaris won't last long pulling a trailer like the OP wanted.
Since the OP has already chimed in and basically closed his interest in this thread, THREAD CLOSED.
