Hummm...24/25 mpg, I find that hard to believe. Now 20/21 is more believeable.

My SES never comes on, and I know it works because I replaced every lamp in the dash before I chipped. BTW, I had a few burned out lamps in there - this might be a service issue for others.

The DP is supposed to limit the MAP sensor reading so the PCM doesn't freak out an defuel. Maybe something else is at play. Can you reach somebody with AE?

DP said there tunes still allow the Ses light to come at I believe 23 lbs of boost but the computer will not defuel like it normally would. Get a Riffraff OCR and it will stop the light from coming on for overboost.

Uuuhhh? I get 22-23 on stock and 27-28 on 80e. Who else has 80e with SES lighting/not?

I checked my F6 tune files and they are dated September 29th, 2011. My date calculator (I can't manage it on fingers) says 6 months, 3 weeks, 3 days (206 days). That could be it.

There are two Overboost codes. There's a sensor code and a voltage code. Jody only keeps the sensor code from setting because this is one that will make your truck defuel. The only part that will keep the voltage code from setting is an OBA kit. Make sure the one you are buying does this before purchasing.

Hmmm.... I've run mine with AE active and no codes are thrown. I have the F6 with upgrades since....... Ah crap, I just remembered as I wrote that last sentence. Sep 29 - original purchase with 60e, but shifts were too hard. Tweaks sent until November. I bought my 80e on February 1st, along with a 40t and had to expand my controller from 6 tunes to 8. Whole different world.

Doublecrap. Diane raised the question while I was posting. Diane... you guys should take time to go boating sometime... all work, no water.

Now I have to find out if something else is amiss in my truck. I either have a mod I was unaware of (this would be the third one), or something ain't right.

Crocks, huck, duck in ice hole, cheese-n-rice! My MAP signal line was grounded by the previous owner. What kind of a mod is that? Now I have to wonder what this does to my tune. How does this affect power and economy? I pulled the ground, then pushed the pedal into it and there it was, like a banker in a cubicle when somebody yells "free cake" - the SES light popped up. Oddly enough, I could have sworn the boost said 30 when I glanced, but I was too preoccupied to focus on that.

I went on a long AE run today, now I need to compare my new data with the previous data from the runs with the MAP disabled.

If you need me, I'll be buried in data - blowing snot bubbles.

I am certain it is only scewing datalog data and gauge readings. This sounds like the Original owners way of keeping the voltage code from popping up. Looks like the boost reading are still off though. With stock injectors the 80e should be reading 25-28psi. 30psi would be closer to the 120 race. We've seen 35, but that's pushing it with the diaphram.

I will ask Jody what he thinks when he gets home.

I have stage 1's, 24 I think has been my peek boost, but SES comes on everytime. I too also think mine shifts too hard. I will always worry about the tranny.
