Does anyone know what the differences will be between the 2003 Ford Explorer and the 2004 Ford Explorer. I know the body styles won't be changing but will there be any changes to the standard features? Specifically the Explorer XLT? Any imput would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ford hasn't released any info to the dealers on the '04 Explorer. The only info we've received so far is on the F-150 and Escape. Check back in a few weeks- if I remember I'll post the info, or just re-ask the question. We should have some hard data by the end of May.
Sorry- got the specs for Escape, Excursion, and Expedition, but nothing yet for Explorer. We have until June 6th to order 2003's, so it may be a week or two. But don't be afraid to check back and ask!
Thanks for the link, N700MS- I just found the info on my website this morning. The biggest change to the XLT is the exterior, and I had to read it several times before I figured out what they were doing. Ford is eliminating the lower-body cladding and wheel-lip moldings, and adding bodyside moldings instead. The body-side moldings and complete bumper will be done in body color instead of the flat gray plastic of the '03.
