02 7.3 fuel pressure sometimes it go from 100 to 70 psi when you mated it . Then goes back to 100 when you let off. New electric gauge, 2 sensors both of them do the same thing. Driving holding 70 psi then stop turn it off wait five min then start it and then it goes to 100 psi has anyone seen this before? most of the time it maintains 70 psi.

I had a similar issue and found that my FPR was sticking. I replaced it and now things are operating normally again. Mine didn't look bad, but it was. When I first took it apart I noticed a smashed looking rubber seal on the poppet valve. I found a suitable o-ring from my spare parts and tried it but my pressures were too high...(around 80-85 IIRC...). I later ordered the rebuild kit and used the stock spring. My pressure sits right around 68-70 psi now. It drops about 5-7 psi at WOT which I think is normal for these engines.
EDIT: Notice the difference in the poppet valve bushings. There must be at least a couple of different designs out there. The one that Wes posted is different than what I have.
