I have a 1993 Ford F150 without cab lights. I want to put some on but I wasnt sure how hard that is to do and if anyone had some pointers.
While this is the right forum to post in, you will probably have better luck searching over in the 1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums. Make sure you search that forum first, so that you don't post a question that has been discussed at length already. Good Luck!
They aren't that hard. Place the lights how you want them (spacing and square to the windshield) then mark the holes to pilot. remove the visors and drop the head liner, then pilot drill the holes. If you want the lights to work, you'll need drill a hole for the lighting wires.
Set your screws in the lamps, slide the gasket on the screws, put a dab of silicone in the holes in the roof and gently/evenly screw the lamps down. Connect the wires, run them down the A-Pillar to the head light switch.
