Lost the cam sensor while driving

I've never had it happen before, but I was loaded in canada, then the truck started losing all ignition (basically acting like I was turning off the ignition, then turning back on). I then got off the road then let it idle while going through my checklist. Then it died. I tried to start it once, then took a nap. When I got up, I replaced the cam sensor (letting it die caused the code to trip, and I ride with an extra cam and crank sensor). Just thought I would share this. Btw, she fired right up after the swap.

Mine threw a code for the cam sensor last winter, but was still running fine, I cleared the code and it's been fine since... maybe I should be riding with a spare from now on. Thanks for the post.
