Thank you Senix. I will give this and your suggestion about the hpfp harness to my mechanic. IF you don't mind, I would like to keep you informed. Especially if your suggestions get it fixed.

Very interesting, that's about three or four recent reports of tuners seemingly causing some kind of problem. I bet the EPA has found a way to cause the tuners to crash so we will all put our DPFs back on and save the earth from soot.

My edge RACING evolution is working great. I've only tried setting 1 and 2. i stay on 1 now all the time including towing. 1 is 35 HP and I think 125 torque pounds. The teckies there told me to tow on 2 which is only 50 HP and I think 150 lbs. I tried it but couldn't see a lot of difference so I stay on 1 now. Truth is if I could tow on stock I would but I don't have that option. Anyway, I'm very happy with it. I can monitor 4 functions out of a menu of about 10. The EGTs monitor without installing a sensor, I like that. The one I have is kind of bland looking but I think the later models have a color screen. I guess I just lucked out. I bought it used on craig's and took some flack for doing so but I thought for 250 bucks I'd give it a try and if it wasn't what I wanted I'd buy a spartan or h&s. But it's worked great. Been on for 8000 miles now. my first oil report was great with a capitol G. I didn't say anything about being deleted but the guy that did the report even commented on what a great report it was compared to my previous reports. If you are considering an edge you have to find one used, or a dealer leftover. The one that lets you delete is the "racing" evolution (commonly called evo) and edge quit making them about 6 months ago. They said they found out customers were using them for on road deletes. What a shocker. There is a place in fort lauderdale that had some advertised a couple months ago. I don't remember the name but if you google edge racing they might come up.

The edge tuner does not have a stock program for "DPF off". When I load the stock tune it turns the truck back to total stock, and goes in to regen about 30 seconds after it starts. I learned that the hard way.
