Oil Filter Leak

Anyone have problems with motor craft oiul filter leaks. Every time I change my oil the filter ends up leaking. This has happened three times. Anyone.

The FL-2051 oil filter?
My truck is running on it's fifth currently; no leaks from any.

Yes, have had it leak a steady drop or two every night. Filter is tight....need to get it into dealer....

Not over tightening the filter? If that happens...the gasket gets smashed...and doesn't offer a good seal.

I have my truck a year now and have had two oil changes. No leaks at all. I would definitely have the dealer check it out.

Make sure the old gasket doesnt get started stuck on the engine. So there doesnt end up being 2 gaskets on the filter

Also, make sure to lube the new filter gasket with oil before spinning it on. I thought mine was leaking after the last change, but it was just "drippings" from removal that I had forgotten to wipe up before spinning the new one on.
