Hub cap ???

The caps that came on my 49 f-1 (on 16"wheels) fit fine,but are not chrome(bright ).Bought 2 from e-bay a while back ,private seller,new from Bob Drake #6A-1130. says fits 47-56 trucks. My original caps are 8 1/8" where they mount to the wheel,the BD ones are 7 1/2" across so they do not fit. Any ideas what they fit?? Can anyone use them?

Do you have a picture of them? I am trying to remember what size fits the cars.

They look identical on the front,on the mounting surface is where the problem lyes
