Went ahead and did the oil cooler replacement today and on test ride I had a boost issue.
Boost won't go any higher than 10.
Took off turbo clamps and made sure it was aligned and no leaks. Still the same. Checked air intake and all is connected well. Any ideas?
Turbo was fine yesterday before cooler replacement
Check the hose going to the boost sensor as well as your ebp sensor connection. The hose im talking about comes off the right side of the intake man. and goes to a grey looking little box mounted by the heater box.

boost sensor AKA MAP sensor, and I agree with your diagnosis. Also check the VGT plug-in.
Did everything suggested and it felt normal. No lag
Stomped on it on entrance ramp from 50 mph to 80 and boost got to 14. Never paid attention to it much but it felt fine.
Going to hook my trailer to it tomorrow and see how it feels.
Is 14 psi about normal with no load? Wanted to push it but with cops everywhere on Easter weekend, I decided not to.
Thanks again, Anthony
