Just settled my debate of wether or not to paint the handle on my tool box. That's an affirmative ghost rider lol

My local dirt track has a resident truck that's only job is mud packing.
I have seen it many times, but never thought to share it here.
After reading and looking at otherwise boring dent sides I have had a keen eye out for dents worth sharing.
May be hard to tell, but this truck has sprint car tires on it. 2 years ago the super soft tires wore out. And were replaced by a mobile tire service with normal extra wide mud tires.
But would not pack mud. Just cut into mud making a ruff race track.
Then went back to good ole boy engineering using the outside rear sprint car tires on all corners.
I do not know how long it has lived at the track. But I heard someone say at least 20 years.
It gets washed only when they can't see out the windshield.
And it's done with a flat edge shovel kept in the bed.

There's just one problem with that. If you notice those mirrors are designed to fit the 80-96 F series doors. Not the 73-79. The angular drop arm is too long. And if placed up higher in the correct spot, the lower mount bolts and bracket will sit where the bodyside mldg. is in the dent line of the door. What the owner needs to do is get the correct mirrors for the truck and mount those in the correct spot. But I agree that is one of big pet peeves on these trucks as well.
