1979 LTD 302 carb
Ok so I've decided that the weathered 2 door LTD my grandmother left me that was always my punishment car when I wrecked my other vehicle is actually pretty sweet and deserves some respect.
I'm trying to put together a game plan for mods and minor restoration.
I'd like to start with some headers and a 4brl to replace the stock 2brl.
Any sugetions on the carb or any other aspect.

I would swap in a 351W before doing anything to the stock 302. Big car like that needs more torque, not what little HP a 4 bbl and headers will give you. Check the block casting numbers too, if it's got a D8VE-A3A or a D9OE-E3A block, these are the same castings as the Mex blocks, great foundations for building a 347
