Mark I'm a good hour from any Autozone or Advanced Auto, which is why I was mentioning the AE or Snap On MT 2500, just don't know if i should bite the bullet, hate to shell out $350 and use it one time
True 45-50psi Boost he would be TOAST I didnt say Boost though
But I said 45-50psi for MAP or EBP these 2 are a Total of Ambeint Air Pressure and Boost pressure in the Intake Manafold and Exhaust Manafolds
So an Average here 13psi Ambeint pressure + 30 PSI MAX Boost equalls 43PSI
MAP and EBP are a Grand Total of all pressure
Boost is MAP pressure less Ambeint Pressure
With me Yet?????
These numbers will show a Plugged exhaust (Im not saying thats your Problem though) or bad Sensor
MAP and EBP sensors are what the PCM uses to controll the VGT on the turbo what in turn could cause a Surge
Louie Im not shure on the snap on scanner but I beleive with the AE with Ford Enhanced Bundle is pretty good you can controll things to do Ford Specific testing plus it will pull all Generic codes and Manufacture Codes cylinder balance
Benny do you use an AE, or get along OK with the SGII. I was considering getting one to read codes, but hate to lay out that much coin if I can get away without it.
OK Benny, got some numbers for ya. First off, the tests started on a cold truck in the AM, ambient temps 55degrees, and pulling a 7000 ld. trailer, except for the WOT runs, trailer was then off. ECT 198/EOT 205 at 70 mph.

I have managed to get by wirth my scangaugeII
I keep telling myself that if I ever have an injector issue or something I cant figure out I would get an AE. And knock on wood my truck seems to be a good one not had to do to much to it. Plus Iv come across a few tricks to single bad injector out so IDK AE would be great though

And the wrench light has not returned, how does it look?
So all these numbers are Taken while driving with the (KO #s being the exception??????) and you also were pullen a trailer to?????? If so all numbers are a BUST
the IPR% ones look way off or maybe are they IPR Volt reading or something IDK just looks off to what I have
what are you using to get these values SGII???????
KO, LI, HI were parked, OR was cruising 70 mph with trailer, WOT no trailer. So how do they look, you mentioned earlier in the thread me posting my MAP and EBP at WOT to see if I might have a clogged kitty, how do they look? I think the others look good, but not sure on my HPOP readings. This truck has original EGR,oil coolers, STC,stand pipes, dummy plugs etc. I plan on doing these for longevity, but wondering how much time I have. And yes all the readings were with a SGII. The IPR% also shows IPR Duty Cycle, was i supposed to be using another IPR gauge? So, like I said, they look good to me, tell me if I'm missing something. And the original start of this thread the wrench light still has not returned, should I be worried it was there in the first place, and my deltas look good, oh ya kept a close eye on boost this time, even under WOT never went over 28.
IPR #KOEO 14.84
Low Idel 24
High Idel 40.60
Range 0 - 50 PERCENT Injection Pressure Regulator
ICP also looks WAY LOW
ICP_DES KOEO 0
Low Idel 625.5
High Idel 1400 - 1450
Range 0 - 4045 PRESSURE (PSI) ICP Desired
these are per Ford^^^ and are what you want per a good HPO system
Hows your Volts???
FLP and FVP volts on these looked Low at Low Idel you had 11.5Volts
If your only making 11.5 volts at low idel alternator might be on its way out
So to me Looks like HPO Problems and Possible Bad Alternator
ICP was WAY LOW at High Idel
IPR doesnt look like its even reading right check its code for SGII
Probably wont hurt to tripple check SGII codes for ICP and IPR%
Check what your getting for volts too
check CODEs and Values again for these something seems FISHY maybe its just me IDK
Actually you PM'd me hi idle is supposed to be 2500, all my hi idle readings are 1200 rpm, so that could explain my 933 ICP at 1200, at 2500 it will be higher, how abt. the OR reading of 2800 is that OK. I also noticed KO I had 11, does that mean it was holding pressure in the system, it had sat a few days, that would be good, no? My LO at 889 was higher than Ford spec, mind you the truck was not hot, would they go down when hot if there was slight HPOP leakage? I guess I could check those again hot, what abt. the IPR% Duty Cycle gauge I entered shows the sam Ford values you show, so it must be the same gauge we are talking abt. As far as the 11.5 volts, if my truck sits for more than 3 or 4 days, batteries are low, so I'm suspecting low batteries, they are Sears Die Hard Platinum, came with the truck, have no receipt, but they might swap them out, Sears is good abt. that. So you think I'm OK with the clogged exhaust? I'll double check HPOP stuff tomorrow, hot and at proper RPM and repost.
FICM low voltage detection monitor - DTC P0560 stored and wrench warning lamp illuminated when PCM vehicle power (VPWR) parameter identifier (PIDS) is below 10.25V for 60 seconds or below 9V for 4 seconds.
Also (as Benny said) - the IPR readings do not make sense, but the ICP values do not look bad.
KO=14.84 LI=24 HI=40.60 OR=0-50 %
and those are the readings I got, I don't think there is another IPR gauge you guys are looking for? will re-post today.
