I work for a company named ram so gess what kind of trucks they have for us anyway whenever we are having a problem with one of the trucks they usually will change the fule filter and then suck all the fule out of the filter housing and refill it with injecter cleaner strange thing is that about half the time it fixes the problem. Anyone ever do this to there ps or is it something are mecanic dreamed up for the cummins
tats kinda of a dream. no manual ever suggests tat. sounds like a temporary fix. i cant speak for the cummins engine, but on a ford, it's very particular.
anyway, we dont talk bout the dodge goat trucks here too much. most of the folks on here are ford lifers and it's another sensitive topic. u might get better answers at a dodge diesel forum.
Just depends on what the problem is. If it's fuel related...you could remedy the issue by removing the junk fuel and replacing it with good fuel...and running some injector cleaner for the few moments out of the secondary fuel filter. I'm not exactly sure how the Dodge's are set up...not sure if they've got one, two or more fuel filters (I used to drive a Freightliner that had 3!). Basically I'd want to know more about the problem the Dodge was having before I could say wither or not it would work on a PSD.

LOL dont worry i wasn't going to convert or nothing i got burnt on a durango years age so its not going to happen but i was just wondering if it was a good idea or not
