Howdy, I bought a cb radio and I want to power it off the upfitter switches in my 06 f250. My owners manual says that two are 10 amp and two are 30 amp. Fuse box is above glovebox and I found that okay, then it also says there's 4 bugged wires to connect the power supply to. I will just hook the positive end of the cb to a 10amp wire.
I cannot find the wires the owners manual is talking about...can anyone help me out with this, I hope this makes sense to you guys I did the best I could haha
They should be bundled up under the dash near your steering wheel shaft -
They are 4 wires all by themselves up behind the fuse panel, not the wires down closer to the brake pedal that are in a bundle with a bunch of other blunt cut wires.
They are coded as follows:
Switch Circuit number Wire color Fuse
AUX 1 CAC05 Yellow 25A
AUX 2 CAC06 Green with
Brown Trace
25A
AUX 3 CAC07 Violet with
Green Trace
10A
AUX 4 CAC08 Brown 15A
