Upfitter switches on the 2011

Anyone know yet if the 2011 upfitter switches are using the same color codes as the 08 series of F250s. If no does anyone have the new color codes. I have to re install some equipment that I removed from my 08

I went to the fleet ford link and looked at the pic's, but do not find the Relay or the correct colored wires on my 2011 King Ranch 6.7. I did find another group of wires in that same area that are blunt cut and shrink wrapped. Is it possible that my truck has different colors, or the blunt ends are somewhere else?

Thanks

Al

I have the same problem with my 2011 F-350 King Ranch 6.7 Liter Diesel Crew Cab Dually. I want to hook up my Aux Diesel Pump on my external fuel tank but, I can't fine the 4 Wires for the Upfitter Switches. I see the harness with all the other wires. I looked under my dash but I can't find them. I called the Ford Dealership in Texas where I purchased my truck and they couldn't even help me!!! I looked but I guess I haven't looked good enough! Anyone have any suggestions or can you point me in the right direction. Thank You, Scott

On the king, there is an amp looking device right where your left leg would be while sitting in the truck. You can not see the wires from the faceplate removal under the steering wheel. I never found them, but got my son to get in and look around. He found them by laying upside down, and looking behind the amp looking device. That device hides them well. After he told me where it was, he had to show me again before I found them. I had my feet on the head rest and was laying on my sholders in the floorboard to find them, but they were to the left of the larger bunch of wires (left as you are sitting in the seat, right as you are upside down) just keep looking and you will find them. Or get someone small, with a flashlight to look.

Mr. Al, I did see the amp looking device. I will check it out in the morning. I sure do appreciate the help. So, the wires are behind the amp looking device!! I'll squash myself up in that cramped cubby hole.

Thank You,
Scott

FTE is a pain concerning pictures..

you can't post (using their tools) if you have <25 posts.
you can't post inline (attach) if you aren't a paying member

so, all you can do is upload pictures somewhere (your profile, a gallery) or external site like photobucket.com, and then link to the pictures.

Ok.... For reference- the "v" between ur first 2 fingers at your lower knuckles on ur left hand. Rest that "v" on the lowest corner point of the amp thing, facing ur fingertip upward toward the instrument cluster. This will put your palm wrist joint resting right in front of the ebrake. Wiggle those 2 fingers around and they will be hitting the wires right in the fingerprint area of fingertips. Look for the wires comming out of the loom right where a white tag is at. Notice the speaker thingy in the pictures below for a point of reference.

For orientation, all of the below photo's were taken with an Iphone flush up against the fire wall, looking towards the drivers seat, and semi looking out the drivers door.

and.... YES..... that is a housecoat I am wearing. It was cold this morning when i took the pic's.

Blunt Cut Wires

Does anyone know what the bunch of wires taped to the loom are for? They are not the upfitter wires there is about 10 or more wires easy to see.

Not 100% sure which bundle you're referring to but they could be just "pass-thru" wires from the inside firewall to the engine compartment. There is some bundled up in the engine comp just rearward of the pwr disto box.

The bundle you are talking about is the PTO control wires. You can use those for the high idle mod.
