Welding exhaust tips

Hey guys, finally got my exhaust done! Sounds awesome, lots more low end torque and turbo really whines. (not quite sure about my fuel mileage, ive been getting after it alot!!) so my question is how did you guys go about welding your tips on? I only had dual shielded flux cored so i was thinking mig wire would be better since it doesnt cut so deep? Its a stainless tip off mild steel pipe. Thanks guys!

Also how many volts should i run??

Not sure but remember after you weld stainless with a mig that area will rust if not painted. Can you find someone with a tig?

Wow i never considered tig, cant believe i didnt think of that beforr. I can do it next week at the schools shop, would i use a steel tip on the tig gun?
