Anyone know what the part number is for the trailer wiring harness that would plug into the connectors on the underside of the truck on the drivers side near the hitch?
It comes with all the mounting hardware and the direct connections. No instructions, but it's pretty straight forward.
I installed mine last weekend, and let me tell you, it was a thing of beauty to just plug right into the existing wiring harness with no cutting, splicing, taping, etc...

Thanks B&L!
Out of curiosity how long was the cable?
As I need to put it in front of the bed of the truck for my slide in (cabover) camper, not at the rear like you would do for a 5'ver.
It's plenty long enough to run from the existing 7 way connector up to where I mounted it (above the gas filler door in the bed). It does not connect to the factory camper harness plugs but instead plugs into the factory harness that goes to the 7 way and then into the 7 way. Just a big long jumper cable with a connector in the middle.
On my Camper, I was able to use a 3 foot double female 7 way to connect between the jack in the bed and the jack on the camper. Works great.
You cant use that plug for the camper. You are supposed to run a much larger fuse from the battery to that camper plug in for constant power. Mine is a 150 amp fuse but anything over 40 will probably work. Plus the charge wire that is on the trailer brakes is only a 14 gauge wire. Way to small for a camper charge wire (you will melt it) Go online and look for a camper plug that ties into the wire along your frame rail or build one yourslef. They make kits for them but I have heard the wires are too short and you need to add wire to it anyway.

The issue here is that if you have a camper and pull a trailer that is a lot of power on that small wire. Just my .02 cents. Look at that switched power wire. It is small and probably shouldn't be used for a camper and a trailer that requires power too. A boat trailer doesnt require power but other applications like my car hauler has two charge batteries on it as well as other items.
I had to add the plug to my 3 ft connector cable so wired that using the 10 gauge black/white for charge to the camper. Seems to be working.... Of course, the trailer I'm pulling isn't using any charge power since it's a two horse trailer with no power other than lights.
Thats just it. The next guy that has your truck might. How does a horse trailer stop? electric brakes?
I am just saying I have had several campers and the way to do it is not splice that power wire into the existing plug. Even for a Fifth wheel I would not want to do it that way but I guess its the same as pulling a trailer with the Fridge, batteries and everything else.
Yep, electric brakes. That wire is not connected to the Camper so shouldn't be impacted. As you said, it's not really any different that having a trailer with fridge ect. plugged into the bumper 7 pin. Wire gage on the harness seemed to be as large or larger than the factory harness.
