P0299 code???
Was in the work truck today which is a 05 or 06 crew with an 8ft box. Has 156k on it. Never had any issues with it until this today. Was towing a skid loader on the trailer in tow haul. I leaned into it and there was no added boost and the wrench light came on and the check engine light came on. You could floor it and it wouldn't down shift or anything. When I got back to the shop I hooked my bully dog watchdog to it and it gave me that code and it also said Turbo Underboost. I called the dealership and thought maybe the turbo was sticking but I don't know. Has anyone else delt with this and if so what did you find if you would please let me know as I am going to start tearing into it tomorrow at the shop. Thanks in advance.
