Question for those that is running a lift and larger tires...what our you using for a spare.

My 08 F250 has a 6" pro comp lift with Nitto 37x12.50x20 tires. The stock spare is still under the bed, but way smaller than what I'm running on the truck. I would like to have the same size wheel/tire for my spare, but I would have to carry it in the bed.

Anyone else carrying around the same size spare?

 

I had a 35" spare in the stock location on my 2000 (which had 37" tires on it). My exhaust was extremely close to the tire so I dropped in another heat shield. Luckily I never needed it, but in a pinch, it could've been used.

I don't think you'll fit a 37" tire without some pretty involved modification.

 

Do you think I could fit a 325/65/18 spare in the stock location? I don't have a full size spare at the moment but want to get one.
