Changing parts before you know what the problem is is a good way to waste money, but it rarely fixes it. Is the fuse blown? Do you have 12V at the motor? You need to do some more diagnosis.

your right steve...but taking it to a service station & having them charge me 60$ for a diagnostic check, I thought Id gamble & go with a new 12$ resistor...I LOST....
Iwas thinking resistor because for the last 2 years the heater would only work on high, until recently nothing comes out.
Gamble another $12 on a Haynes manual and you'll never have to pay a service station again. It tells how to diagnose (and repair) almost everything on the truck.
Not putting all the information in your first post slows everything down. Is there anything else you've done, checked, changed, or noticed that could pertain to your blower motor not working? Did you check the voltage at the motor connector or at the resistor? Here are the current (Amps) & voltage readings you should get at the motor connector with it plugged in and the engine running: Switch ......................... A ......................... V
