Before I put my panels back on I want to fix my vent windows. Im replacing the weatherstripping and locks, but my driver side vent frame needs to be tweaked a little around where the lock is due to some jackass prying it open when they broke into my truck. So my question is has anyone been able to remove the glass from the frame and save both the glass and frame. I already have the 3m window adhesive and Id like to pull the glass out, fix the frame, paint and glue the window back in. Whats the trick on pulling these apart. I really dont want to spend money on new stuff if I can save these.
I thought I had it bookmarked, but I remember reading a very good article on how to disassemble everything and put it back together. Try googling vent window felt replacement and see what you get. If I find it, I'll let you know.
