alright, I surrender...its a V8...
Newbie guy here guys, be kind...I am a recent flip-flopper from bowtie to ford... my last ford was a 31 2dr sedan....
Anyway I picked up a shortbed 67 F-100 and was about to swap the dead 300 for a newer one.
Well, pre-efi 300's reasonably priced are not that easy to find.
A smallblock looks like a good option. Are the frame motor mounts the same or do I need V8 frame mounts?

FE engines (352, 360, 390, 428) will fit the I6 motor mounts. 302/351W take different mounts and 429/460 take a different set of mounts. For pictures go here.......Comparison Photos of Engine Perches - FORDification.com
