Shop Manuals
Just bought a '68 F100 bump-side, with a swapped 460 and an Edelbrock 1407. Has a C6 tranny, manual brakes and steering. The home-made paint job is so thick it actually did a really good job protecting the sheetmetal. Anyway, I always buy all the shop manuals I can find when I get a new vehicle and have purchased the 1968 Ford Truck Shop Manual F100-350 from Amazon. Having trouble finding a Haynes or Chilton in paper. Don't like the CD versions. Also, because the motor has been swapped for a 460, any suggestions on year range for a manual to cover that as well? The heads are marked D2VE-AA and the intake is marked D4VEC1B. I think that means the motor could be a parts job, and the years used range from '72-'78. Maybe an E100-350 manual for those years? Haven't begun serious work on her as I promised the wife the house will be ready for the upcoming holiday weekend. Got a few year long honey-do list to complete. I appreciate any and all help (with the manuals, not the honey-dos, although...) Thanks, Joe
