Welcome to FTE.

From your description of how it runs, sounds like you may have more than one problem & fuel delivery may be one of them, so post All of the actual trouble code Numbers, as they can provide good trouble shooting clues.

Did this problem come about slowly over time, or suddenly after some event????
Are you up to date on All past & present due scheduled maintenance???
How many miles on this ride????
The answers to these questions could help us make a more focused guess as to where best to look for your problem/s.

Hi

My 2002 Escape acted similarly. I found the catalytic converter had melted down and the exhaust had no where to go. If you put a 0 to 10 psi pressure gauge in your O2 sensor hole the pressure should be less than one psi. If it's more than that your catalytic converter may be have burned up maybe due to it running rich. If you think this may be what yiour looking for you can remove both O2 sensors and exhaust into the atmosphere and see if it runs any better. that would confirm it or dismiss it.

Did you replace all the parts at one time?
Give us an idea on the repair sequence so we can help eliminate probable
cause and effects.

What kind of miles on the truck prior to repairs?
The two codes are FORD specific and HO2 sensor related.

Before you replaced any or all of the sensors and electrical parts did you
disconnect the NEG battery cable?

Are you using Motorcraft O2 sensors?

Check that the O2 sensors or getting power.

Check your fuel pressure or leaking injectors.

Are these the only two trouble codes?

To "glackey88"

To "glackey88:" Welcome to FTE. This is a great site for help with your Ranger. It is also a place where some common courtesies are used.

Hijacking a thread is something that is discouraged. What you have done is sidetrack the issue the original poster (OP) started. Unless someone replying to either the OP or you specifies which person's issue, the responses get confused. Instead, what you should have done is to start a new thread.

Give it a try.

Give the new guy a break.

Although his problem is not the same it IS similar to the OPʻs.

AND I would like to think the OP corrected his problem since the first post

was nearly 7 months ago.
