exhaust time
90 f150 4.9 stock. well while replacing my fuel pumps the other day i noticed my exhaust pipes, before and after the muffler, have long cracks in them. shop wants $300.00 for new system, pipes and muffler. but figure now was the time to upgrade for a little better sound. right now i basically have to sound. seems the shop is right on the price compared to what i can find on ebay. they might be $20.00 or $30.00 more but thats them doing all the work. which really isnt much other on how hard it would be to get the pipe off at the rear cat. figured i could heat it as a last resort. i dont really want a loud sound but it would be nice to at least hear it run.

well i broke down and bought my wife a newer car, shes been driving a 70 mustang for about 15 years now, its been a great car but needs some work. time for something newer. anyway my exhaust will be on hold. but finding every thing i need on autozones web site made it easy, and for under $100.00.
