I've got two sagging doors in my '73 F100. After some research here on the forums, I've decided to purchase some Door Hinge Repair Kits from Bronco Graveyard. My question(s) is this: How hard is it to fix this door sag? Do I need a buddy? Do I need to take the door off? Can I do one hinge at a time?
It's always a good idea to have two people when replacing the hinges. Also, do the prep. Cut the corner of the hinge to the body and door so that excess paint will will not peel off. Spray penetrating oil on the mounting hardware to help loosen it up. Before removing the hinge, outline with a pencil. An impact tool will help considerably. Make sure any wires going to the door are disconnected. Start with removing the hinge from the body then the door and install the hinge to the door and then to the body.
