I guess it's time to give an update on my MPGs. In the past two days I've put a little over 100 miles on my truck, 99% on the highway, and it's now up to 14.2. I drive like I'm 90 years old and never exceeded 70 miles per hour. I may be wrong, but this doesn't seem good enough to me. At 65 MPH, the tach's only showing about 1500-1600 RPMs.

Hey captain, have u ever reset the economy rating screen? If not, u r fighting all the idling the dealer did while showing the truck.

Yes, I've reset it. I'm even trying some gas that is ethanol-free. If it's not getting better mileage by the time 3000 miles rolls around, I'm going to let the dealer see if there's something wrong. I realize a 4X4 with a 3.73 isn't going to get super MPGs, so I'm not really complaining, just curious at this point. I wonder if I really need to get on it and let it do some revs. I've really been very gentle on the truck--I've not pressed hard on the throttle at all.

Yeah that don't seem right. The one I test drive was 4x4 3.73 and the computer said it was geting 17 - 18 @70mph
