Okay, so ive wanted an old truck like my dad had back on the farm. well I GOT IT!!! its a 1976 f100 stepside... and well i want to put a 2" lift, 32" mud terrains, paint it charcoal gray, completly restore the interior, and possibly a single roll bar/bed bar with hi'lighters up top. what else do ya'll think would make it a tough/stout looking farm truck. oh yeah its a 4x2 with a 460 with c6 tranny.
Anything is possable. It sounds like you have a good plan. A 4x2 is not a bad truck. You have a good drive train that should get you thru just about anything, short of being in mud up to your neck. Just make it yours, do to it what you want to do. But you have to post pictures, we love pictures
thanks, it seems like it will get me through what i intend to use it for. but i dont want to finish it and go "oh crap i didnt think of that!!!" and yes i will have plenty of pictures over the next year or so...

You want tough?
Try authentic camouflage paint (used a DoD manual for reference), a gun rack, and deer antlers mounted on the pushbar or light bar. I've got a an 8-pointer ready to go... it was a roadkill. You shouldda seen them peoples faces when I pulled over, whipped out a hacksaw, and started harvesting the antlers.
