Making the Scanguage II mounts.
Here are a few pics I took during the process of making some Scanguage II mounts. The first pic is just the blank I used which was faced off and spot drilled for the mounting hole locations. The second pic is of the blank after I slotted it to make the individual mounts. The third is of the blanks after they have been circle milled to give my end mill clearance to start machining the cavity. I had already machined a couple with the recess for the mounting screws and the hole for the power cord.The fourth is the blanks with all the cavity machining done. I didnt take a pic but after the fourth pic I just flipped the blank over and again slot cut to make them individual then faced off the excess stock. Enjoy.

That was quick! Saw the one you put in your truck. What about make it to mount above the rear view mirror? The afternoon sun has been blinding me every day when I drive home from work. Need something to block it

Spent the better part of my shift making them. Pretty fast I guess. Already had the dimensions pegged for these from the first one. I winged the first one which took almost half what it took to make 9 of em. As far as a rearview mount, you can buy one of those off sites like amazon. I could probably make one though if I had the measurements. The problem is I dont really have access to hardware and such so Im really limited to what I can do, well atleast where looks are concerned.
