I've got a '73 F100 with a 390 I had rebuilt last Oct. The guys swapped out my stock 2bbl intake for a 4 bbl intake. Problem is I don't know from what and when I asked they just said it came off a 68 390, however I'm not certain about that. The hole in the intake for the t-stat is a "big" hole which makes me think that it came off 65 or earlier motor and I don't have a t-stat and would like to run one. The #'s on the intake are C1AE9425B, above that is this : 901
I would like to know what year/make/model this is from so I can order the correct t-stat housing, I've alread tried a 65 galaxie 500, 64 fairlane and a couple others. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Mike,
I'll give that a shot. By the way, any progress on you build? I like many others am anxiously awaiting your next installment....
Not a whole lot done lately, been busy with work and trying to work in getting the donor cab and bed separated from the chassis so I can get them to paint.
Once that's done I'll be looking at the light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm figuring that once I finish the Pumpkin, I still won't save any money because by that time it'll probably cost me the same amount on filling it up as I spend on restoring.
