I have just regular tint on the truck, but my dad put the new ceramic stuff on his new Jetta TDI and its really impressive.

If I could go back today, I would do the ceramic as it really cuts down on the heat you feel without having to be too dark.

When I get to Vegas, I want to get one of the new 80% ceramic tint jobs done to my windshield.

The only downside is the stuff is about twice the cost of the regular lifetime warrantied tint.

You have Nav....I've been told the metallic can screw with some GPS antennas...not sure the location of the one in the Superduty.

GPS antenna is on the roof. I have metallic on my current 6.4 and no issues. metallic also on my honda accord with integrated antenna in the rear window and it definitely affects it. I dont mind paying for quality. you only pay for quality once.

You could have issues with Cell Phones etc. The non ceramics from 3M are really great .... much better than a few years ago. No fade to purple and peeling. Remember, whatever you use don't clean it with Ammonia based Cleaners. Use only Alcohol based.
