I just did mine yesterday and it turned out pretty nice. I used the stuff from walmart (Rustoleum truck bed liner, $45/gal). I previously used it on my 89 and it held up fine, so this time I doubled the thickness to make it even better.

I still have about 2" left in the bottom of the gallon can. That should be enough to do the inside of the tailgate and touch ups. One gallon easily does a longbed.
